The Maid

This was such a fun book. It had all the twists and turns you want from a murder mystery with a sweet bow at the end. I kind of love a book that doesn’t tell you where and when the book takes place. It allows your mind to make up that story along the way so everyone’s book experience is different. It reminded me of early day Liane Moriarty books. Certain parts were so funny and others very sweet. You really felt for the main character who is seemingly on the spectrum. Her life with her grandmother was safe and educational and after her death, she is so lost. Her finding her own way and taking charge at the end of the story really warms your heart. It certainly leaves you with a moral compass to explore long after the book is done. Did she make the right choice? I think so.

Do I recommend: Yes perhaps with some Olive Garden take out
